Trailblazers for a multidimensionally responsible economy
In a time of rapid change and existential global challenges, Tetranomics recognizes the urgent need to harness companies’ economic potential in the interest of sustainable impact. We believe that a course correction of the economy is a central lever for positive global change. By combining state-of-the-art AI technology with profound foundational research, we aim to equip organizations with tools that enable the integration of economic success and sustainable impact.
Our vision is a world in which the economy serves as a catalyst for the well-being of humanity without destroying the natural foundations of life. In this world, companies harness their immense potential to contribute to sustainable development in line with the planetary boundaries, thereby securing their own long-term success as part of a sustainable ecosystem.

Tetranomics SE was founded by three partners, the Parmenides Foundation, Paradigmatic Innovations GmbH, and M3TRIX GmbH, who combined their distinct yet highly complementary areas of expertise.
Paradigmatic Innovations GmbH is tasked with translating scientific insights into the structures and dynamics of human thinking into disruptive innovations. Based on the HACROI criterion (Human and Commercial Return on Investment), four application domains were selected: medicine and healthcare, education and science, business and sustainability, and—last but not least—democracy and governance. Building on a shared pool of methods and tools, PI develops a novel form of “cognitive workbenches” for these four application domains.
Until its acquisition by Paradigmatic Innovations GmbH, M3TRIX GmbH was a research and consulting company that translated deep practical experience and foundational scientific research into a novel form of conceptual and practical support for companies in the field of sustainability.
The Parmenides Foundation is a highly interdisciplinary research organization founded in 2001 with the mission of gaining a deeper understanding of how the human brain deals with complexity. With around 40 scientists from 12 disciplines in its broader network, the Parmenides Foundation is likely the leading forum dedicated to exploring the foundations and limits of complex human thinking.
